So I'm catching up a bit. Our family had our second annual Pumpkin Carving FHE. We like to make it interesting, so we turn it into a competition. Last year, Miguel and Gabriela won. So this year I was out for revenge. I had it all planned out. I was going to make a pumpkin that Sophia would love and that might catch me the prize. We don't believe in using kits bought at the store. Our designs have to be original and the only tools you get are the kitchen knives and spoons.
Our comptetion kind of went down the toilet when Sophia dropped the camera after these few shots, so we never got one of Miguel's finished masterpiece. He created a cyclops. So without an official blog vote, I guess it's a tie. At least you can see mine and Sophia's. We topped the evening off with some homemade pumpkin chocolate chip cookes and milk.
