On Thursday we had the Gala for the pageant at La Caille. It was our first time dining there and it was wonderful. My mother and sister flew in from Atlanta to support me and we had a really great time. The food was amazing and I have to honestly say, I felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day (long story, no time to explain). Maybe we get better as we age. 
I was blessed to be surrounded by friends and family and I think we all had a really great time. In attendance was Jason and Merideth Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Rogelio Franco, my mother and father in law, my mom, and sister.
On of the celebrity guest was Johnney Rogers was was a 70s Heisman Trophy winner. Here we are with him, the trophy, and the ball that was auctioned off. It went for around five grand, which was a steal.
Thanks to all who came to support me and for my wonderful visiting teacher who watched my girls that night. Caren you are the best!

O.k. Meradith, for that he deserves to keep the five bucks. I'm so embarrassed. I do know his name and I blame it on my two year old who was sitting in my lap at the time and distracting me and trying to hurry before my husband catched me on the computer, when I'm supposed to be brushing said two year old's teeth.
