Spring is in the Air

Spring is in the air at our home. Mami is about to POP. We picked March 20th to have our baby since that's the first day of spring! Gabriela and Papi are also out pruning our fruit trees for the first time. Gabriela was a big helper when it came to painting over the cuts Papi made. The tall ladder made her a little nervous, but with Papi near she soom forgot and went to work! That's what we love about our big backyard, opportunities to work together!

Gabriela is turning 3 in a couple of weeks. We are taking her to see Disney Princesses on Ice. We found a local radio station doing a competition for VIP tickets. The winner gets a limo ride and gets to meet the princesses in the show. Anyways she would love it, but we need everyone's help. Gabriela has a new baby cousin!

Last night Gabriela and Sophia met their new baby cousin, Julieta Rebeca Morales. She was born last Friday. Gabriela was so excited and mesmerized by the little one. She wanted to give her toys and rub her head. She wanted to see her get her diaper changed and was really excited to hold her. She's going to be a great big sister to her new baby. She also wanted to take it home with us. We try to explain that she only has 3 more weeks to wait until she has her very own baby that can stay at her house. It was sweet to see her so excited since she really didn't understand what was happening when we had Sophia.

Sophia on the other hand was curious, but was too busy doing her own thing to really care. She won't mind the baby, until it interferes with her agenda. Watch out new baby.

She then decided "the heck with that, I'm going in head first." I don't blame her, the cake was good.

If you are looking for a good birthday cake...Costco. But you better have enough people to eat it, because it's huge.

Sophia turns 1 !!!

Our little Sophia turned 1 on Jan. 19th and wasn't the least bit shy when it came to eating her birthday cake. She just picked up the whole piece of cake and bit in...

Well here we go!

Well, here are our two little Princesses as of late. We never know who Gabriela is at any given moment. One moment she's the little baby ghost, another she's Princess Jasmine. She calls Sophia her "little sweetie" or her "little squirty".
